Pedestrian Fatality Closes U.S. 19 Late Wednesday
A pedestrian was killed in Largo trying to cross U.S. 19.

LARGO - A pedestrian was killed Wednesday evening which forced a closure of U.S. 19 in Largo.
Limited details concerning the incident have been released but Largo police state a 31-year old female, who has yet to be identified as of midnight, was struck at roughly 9 p.m.
U.S. 19 was closed from East Bay Drive south to 142nd Street North so police could complete the investigation at the scene. Thus far the driver has not been charged but an investigation is ongoing.
