Pedestrian Killed at Roosevelt Boulevard and 58th Street

The pedestrian was struck while crossing the road Thursday night. Police say the victim was not in a crosswalk.

A pedestrian was struck and killed while crossing Roosevelt Boulevard at 58th Street at 11:12 p.m. Thursday, officials say. 

Largo police say two pedestrians were walking northbound, west of the intersection, and not in a crosswalk.

One pedestrian was struck by a Toyota Tacoma pickup traveling westbound in the center lane. Officials said the pedestrian was pronounced dead on scene.

Traffic homicide investigators do not anticipate any charges, officials said. The name of the pedestrian is being withheld as officials locate family members.
