Pedestrian Injured Seminole Boulevard Crash

The accident happened Wednesday night.

A 35-year-old Temple Terrace man is in serious condition following a Wednesday night crash along Seminole Boulevard.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 2009 Honda Civic driven by Laura Foster, 53, of Largo was heading southbound around 9:40 p.m. in the inside lane approaching 106th Avenue North when the crash happened. Kevin Krieter of Temple Terrace was walking in the grassy median of Seminole Bolevard, just south of 106th Avenue North.

Krieter stepped into the southbound lanes of Seminole Boulevard and walked into Foster’s path, a highway patrol media release said. Foster attempted to avoid the man, but was not successful.

Krieter was struck. He was taken to Bayfront Medical Center in serious condition, the release said.

Foster and her passenger, Jeffrey Foster Jr., 30, were uninjured.

The accident remains under investigation.
