LARGO, FL — A pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle on East Bay Drive in Largo.

According to Largo Police, at 8:15 p.m. Monday, a pedestrian was crossing East Bay Drive east of Starkey Road when the person was struck by a car.

The pedestrian's name has not been released. However, the Largo Police Department said the victim is expected to make a full recovery.
