Pinellas Man Arrested After Accused Of Inappropriately Touching Girl

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — A 42-year-old man has been charged with lewd and lascivious conduct after being accused of touching a girl under the age of 12 on her genitals.

According to an affidavit from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, Jonathan Leon Martinez was arrested July 4 after he was accused of entering the bedroom of a child while she was sleeping and touching her, causing her to wake up.

When questioned by sheriff's deputies, Martinez said he was just looking for the television remote when he accidentally touched the girl's vagina.
