Play! Unplugged Draws Hundreds
Largo event encourages kids to opt for fresh air over video games.
Usually a calm green space in the heart of urban clutter, the grassy expanses of were transformed into a giant playground Saturday. The event, Play! Unplugged...Just What the Doctor Ordered, featured many interactive "free play" experiences for families and children. There was everything from foot-painting to ziplining. The aim of this event was to encourage kids to recognize that fun isn't something that only occurs on a TV or computer screen.
