Police: Couple Stole Motorized Shopping Cart, Drove It To Bar
A Largo couple have been charged with grand theft after reportedly stealing a motorized shopping cart from Walmart and driving it to a bar.
LARGO, FL -- A Clearwater couple have been charged with grand theft after reportedly stealing a motorized shopping cart from Walmart and driving it to a bar.
According to police, Jeffrey Robert Sabiel, 50, and Santa Marie Walters, 32, both of 712 New Jersey St., Clearwater, were captured on surveillance video stealing the shopping cart reserved for handicapped customers from the Walmart Supercenter at 990 Missouri Ave. N.
They reportedly drove the shopping cart west on Rosery Road to Clearwater Largo Road North where they ended up at Jimmy's Sports Bar, 1200 Clearwater Largo Road N. Largo Police found the motorized shopping cart parked outside the bar and the couple inside drinking.
