Police Plan Operation Medicine Cabinet

Law enforcement agencies will collect unused prescription medications on April 28 at multiple locations around PInellas County, including one in Largo.

The , along with other law enforcement agencies, will be hosting a drop off event for those citizens who wish to dispose of unused or expired prescription drug medications.

On Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., citizens may dispose of their medications at the at 2460 East Bay Drive, in Largo. Other nearby locations are listed below.

No bio-hazard items or needles will be accepted. The program is intended for the citizens of Pinellas County and not for commercial use.

Drop off locations include:

  • Walgreens, 7400 66th St., Pinellas Park
  • Seminole Mall (Kmart side), 7949 113th St. N., Seminole 
  • Sweetbay Supermarket, 2460 East Bay Drive, Largo 
  • Westfield Countryside Mall (between Lifestyle Gym & JC Penney’s) 27001 U.S. 19 N., Clearwater
