Woman Who Fired At Largo Police Identified
A woman has been hospitalized after being shot by Largo Police Wednesday.

LARGO, FL — Largo Police have identified the woman who shot at Largo Police officers Wednesday.
Largo Police said Deborah White, 49, was hospitalized after officers returned fire.
Around 11:15 a.m., Largo Police received a call that White was brandishing a gun in the parking lot of the St. Pete Auto Auction at 14950 Roosevelt Blvd.

When police arrived, they found her running west on 49th Street. She turned and fired at the officers, hitting one of the police cruisers and then continued south on Frontage Road. Officers followed and White turned and fired more rounds at them. Several Largo Police officers fired back and she went down.
She was taken to Northside Hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time.

No one else was injured.
Because it's an officer-involved shooting, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is on the scene investigating.
