Most people know about the Florida sales tax holiday that allows you to buy school supplies without paying any sales tax. But did you know that there is another sales tax holiday that allows you to save money AND help the environment?
If you purchase new Energy Star or WaterSense products between September 19 and September 21, you will not pay any sales tax on the first $1,500 of your purchase! Thatβs a great savings.

Why Buy Energy Star and WaterSense Products?
Purchasing a product that is labeled Energy Star or WaterSense means that the product will save you energy, water, and money. In fact, for a product to qualify for the WaterSense label, it must use at least 20 percent less water than a standard appliance, and, it must do this while still providing βequivalent or superior performanceβ according to EPA standards.

Energy Star labeled products are, of course, energy-efficient, but did you know that they can save water too? Energy Star labeled dishwashers and clothes washers use 1/3 less water than non-labeled products.
