LARGO, FL — A Largo woman has been charged with domestic battery after the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said she struck her husband with a bouquet of flowers on Mother's Day.

According to the sheriff's office, at 12:29 a.m. Sunday, May 11, deputies were called to the 2100 block of Palm Way for a domestic violence call. When they arrived, they learned that Sandra Kay Webb, 32, became angry with her husband while he was in bed. Deputies said she spit on him and struck him with a bouquet of flowers that her children had given her for Mother's Day.
