Sheriff's Ask for Help to Identify Credit Card Thief

Detectives are asking for help to identify a suspect who stole a credit card from a car then used it a short time later at a Largo convenience store.

Detectives are asking for help to identify a suspect whoΒ stole a credit card from a car then used it a short timeΒ later at a Largo convenience store.

The suspect broke into the victim's unlockedΒ vehicle and stole a walletΒ in the early morning hoursΒ ofΒ Aug. 22, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect was then seen getting out of the passenger side ofΒ a black four-door carΒ at 6:15 a.m. atΒ the Circle K,Β 13098 Walsingham Road, according to investigators.Β The suspect went intoΒ the store and used theΒ victim's credit card to make a purchase.

The suspect is described as a white male with dark hair. He was last seenΒ wearing a black shirt, jeans, a dark baseball cap and white tennis shoes.
