The silver alert issued for James French, a missing 82-year-old man suffering from dementia, has been cancelled. Officials located him in another part of Florida.

Officials say that James French and his vehicle were both missing at 7 a.m. Tuesday. French, who suffers from dementia, is required to take heart medications.

He drives a a 2010 five-door Nissan car that may be a Nissan Versa. His Florida tag is G638QP.
French has family ties in Eustis, Colorado and Kansas.
French is 5-foot-10 and about 160 pounds, and he's balding with gray hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information about French or his vehicle is asked to contact the Largo Police Department at 727-587-6730.
