How often do you come across an authentic, from-scratch donut joint?  It seems less and less often with the bigger guys like Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme these days.  Luckily for Largo residents, there’s a new place in town that does just that, Gram’s Old Fashioned Donuts.  Opened less than a year ago, Gram serves up ginormous offerings like apple fritters, maple glazed cinnamon rolls and even a key-lime donut.  It’s cheap, it’s sweet and you’ll be in and out faster than it’ll take to scarf down one of these sweet delicacies.

The House of Bagels was definitely created with speed in mind.  With no tables and a takeout-only policy, they really do cater for us hurried and hungry folks.  Choose from an assortment of fresh bagels, sandwiches, or cookies.  The big sign reading “free coffee and biscotti” in the window is quite the incentive as well.

It’d be hard to talk about sweets and the quickest places to get them in Largo without mentioning Frida’s.  Established in 1987, Frida’s serves some of the best, authentic, baked treats in the area.  Choose from an overwhelming variety of muffins like blueberry or chocolate chip, sweet bread loaves, or baked classics like cinnamon rolls or coffee cakes.
