Largo's Stone Crab and Seafood Festival is Saturday, Nov. 12
It's stone crab season and what better way to celebrate this delicious food than with a street festival on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 6 p.m. in downtown Largo.

It’s stone crab season and for the first time Largo will have it's own Stone Crab and Seafood Festival in downtown to celebrate locally harvested stone crabs.
The festival is set for Saturday, Nov. 12 from 6-11 p.m. on 1st Avenue SW just off of Clearwater-Largo Road. Local restaurants like and will be serving up dishes with this delicious fare.
“You only get stone crab once a year. Why not get the best seafood from local restaurants here,” said Jennifer Lantry, owner and coordinator of the event.

Stone crab harvesting seasoning in Florida is from Oct. 15 through May 15. Lantry decided to start Largo's stone crab seafood festival out of her love for stone crabs.
“I get really excited when stone crab season comes around. I’m a huge fan,” said Lantry, who wants to introduce locals to Largo restaurants that serve stone crabs and other seafoods.
