Sunstar Paramedics and Community Action Stops Abuse (CASA) announced their joint partnership on preventing domestic violence at a press conference held this morning at CASA's headquarters in St. Petersburg. Melissa Dohme, who survived being stabbed 32 times by her ex-boyfriend, helped introduce the partnership at the press conference. She will serve as a volunteer advisor for Sunstar. Sunstar also donated $500 to CASA and presented the check during the conference.
