Our inaugural Largo Turns a Page book, Learning to Die In Miami, is a memoir. We’ve enjoyed reading Carlos Eire’s story, but now we want to know a little about you. We’d like you to share a moment or time in your life that helped shape the person that you are today. Your mini memoir should be no more than 500 words. This contest is intended for adults, ages 18 and up. First, second, and third place winners will be selected. Submissions will be accepted February 1, 2015 through February 28, 2015. Winners will be contacted during the week of March 2. There will be a reception and awards ceremony on Monday, March 9 at 6 pm. All submissions must be emailed to largolibrarycontest@gmail.com.
