With the promise of half-naked women dancing on the bar, it was no surprise that The Cheap Little Punks packed the house at Beer Goggles Wednesday night.

Taking no prisoners, The Cheap Little Punks jumped right into the action.

The group knocked out an R-rated rendition of its unique version of the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show to a delighted and crowded audience at  Wednesday.

Nudity was the name of the game and The Cheap Little Punks made no apologies. Director, Cash (who goes by the single stage name), explains:

Known as the Hellcat Burlesque Troupe, they have quite a reputation in the Tampa Bay area for the their risque routines. Nostalgic for the glamour of pre-prohibition America, burlesque has made a major comeback in recent years with a whole new generation of fans coming out to support neo-burlesque performers.

With the promise of half-naked women dancing on the bar, it was no surprise that Beer Goggles would be packed. About 50 people crowded the bar as The Cheap Little Punks performed at 10 p.m.

They were all ready to get wild for the night. Crowd participation is key and die-hard fans yelled, sung and danced without a care.

Based on a play of the same name, The Rocky Horror Picture Show by Richard O'Brien is the longest running movie of all time and has been in theaters since 1975. Now a cult classic, the film still attracts new fans every year.
