Seal Cracks & Holes

Cracks and holes on the outside of your home are common access points for most mice and rodents. If you seal these areas, rodents are less likely to gain entry to your home. Do not forget to check areas where wires and pipes enter your home for holes large enough for rodents and mice to enter. You can fill these up with aluminum foil to deter chewing.

Store Food Properly

Like most other pests, mice and rodents look for food when they invade your home. If you make sure that you are not accidentally feeding these pests by leaving food containers open or leaving pet food out perpetually, you’re sure to have fewer problems with these pesky invaders.

Use Snap Traps & Rodenticide

One of the best methods for getting rid of these pests is to simply set up traps to remove them. You can decide to trap them with snap traps or colony traps, or you can place rodenticide in a container. If you do choose to use rodenticide, be sure to use a container because in most places, it is illegal to put out uncontained rodenticide.

Always Act Quickly

If you spot evidence of mice and rodents (such as droppings and gnawed plastic or furniture), do not hesitate to call a professional right away to handle the invasion.
