Two Die When Pick-up Truck Strikes Tree on Tall Pine Drive

David Alan Farmer and Tamara Lynne Farmer died when their pick-up truck failed to make a curve and hit a tree on Tall Pine Drive in Largo.

David Alan Farmer, 25, and Tamara Lynne Farmer, 27, died when their pick-up truck failed to make a curve and hit a tree on Tall Pine Drive. 

According to, on Saturday around 8:26 p.m. the driver of a 2004 Dodge Ram pick-up, David Alan Farmer, and the passenger Tamara Lynne Farmer were headed north on Tall Pine Drive, just south of 138 Place North in Largo when they crashed. 

They were not wearing their seat belts, officials said.

The driver was taken to Bayfront hospital where he died of his injuries, officials said. The passenger died at the scene.  

Largo police  traffic homicide unit continues to investigate this crash to determine whether speed or alcohol contributed to the crash.
