Two Injured in Overnight Crash on Ulmerton Road

Two men are hospitalized after a dump truck and car collided, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

A Volvo crashed into a dump truck on Ulmerton Road and 66th St North around 2:30 a.m. today. The car was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver tried to change lanes and pass the truck. The car hit the back of the truck, according to a Florida Highway Patrol release.

Volvo passenger Michael Edward Graziano, 23,  and driver Cameron Bosley, 24, both of Dunedin, were taken to Bayfront Medical Center. Graziano's injuries were critical and Bosley's injuries were serious.

The driver of the truck, Steven Edward Brady, 57, of Lakeland, was not injured in the crash, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

This morning's crash is still under investigation.

One of the men in the car, Michael Edward Graziano, is the brother of John Graziano who suffered severe brain damage in a 2007 Clearwater crash. John Graziano was a passenger in a car that hit a palm tree.  The driver in the 2007 crash was Nick Bollea, son of wrestler Hulk Hogan, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

The decorated Marine John Graziano was hospitalized for two years in Tampa. Now his mother, Debra, cares for him full-time, according to Bay News 9.
