“Basically what the movie is about is, it’s about reposessing organs and stuff like that. If you don’t pay, for your organ the repo man will come and take them from you. And you don’t want to repo man to come and take the organs from you because, you basically die.” said Bam Martin, of St. Petersburg.
As fans filled their seats, actors began their portrayal of the characters in the film, including GraveRobber.

“I started doing shadow-casting back in the 90’s with Rocky Horror, and when this movie came out, everyone told me I looked like this. After I saw the movie, I fell in love with it, it was the first time I wanted to do a role in years,” said Tor Johnson, of St. Petersburg.
Although the shadow cast for Repo is similar to Rocky Horror, the show has it’s own following and execution.
“There’s a lot more rehearsal we put into it, because the characters are so different, there’s a lot more interaction as well," said Adam Gollinger, of Largo.
“I like to listen to the fans reactions, the call backs, just see how they respond to everything, it’s why most people would do anything like this, none of us are getting paid,” Johnson said.
While actors entertain, the audience is encouraged, if not, expected to talk back to the movie.
“Such different energy, I’ve been doing Rocky for 15 years and I saw this and I am like wow, this is something completely different, but something with such passion, such life. We had to create it, because, every theater is different but no cast does things the exact same,” Gollinger said.
“I love doing this, I’ll do it, if there’s one person or a hundred in the crowd," Johnson said.
