Want Cookies?

It's Girl Scout Cookie booth sale time!

Thin Mints, Tagalongs, or Samoas- the wait is over! If you did not pre-order your cookies or if you want more, Girl Scout Cookie booth sales started Feb. 24.

New this year are Savannah Smiles. The lemon-flavored cookies, dusted in powdered sugar, are named for the city where Juliette Gordon Low founded the Girl Scouts in 1912.

Other Girl Scout cookie varieties include: Do-Si-Dos, Dulce de Leche, Thank you Berry Munch and Trefoils.

For those who want to support the Girl Scouts, but don't want the cookies the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida has a Cookies from Home program.

The donated cookies will be sent directly to military troops serving in combat zones overseas. Donations to the Cookies from Home Program may be made in person through a Girl Scout through March 18.
