Woman Found Dead In Largo Identified

LARGO, FL — The Largo Police Department has identified the woman whose body was found by a pedestrian early Sunday morning.

According to the agency, a person out for a walk around 9:30 a.m. found the Tonya Forcier, 34, in a shrub area near the intersection of 145th Street North and Starboard Lane.

“Detectives are investigating the death as suspicious and are asking for the public's assistance with any information that may identify Forcier's last known whereabouts and activities prior to her being discovered,” the agency wrote in an email to media.

Police have yet to release information about the cause of death. Anyone with information about Forcier is asked to call 727-587-6730.
