Zackery Hehn: Freshman Athlete Scores High Marks On The Field and In Classroom

Accomplishment: A rising star athlete and academic achiever, Zackery Hehn earned a 3.71 GPA, while in spring training for Osceola Warriors JV football team and while playing in a summer Lacrosse league.
Key to Awesomeness: Zackery is a dedicated, compassionate and friendly young man, who excels in both academics and sports.

He's always been an outstanding student. In a recent, school science trip, he travelled to Costa Rica to learn about rain forests, volcanos and the country's culture. Zackery was so moved by their visit to a local elementary school that he donated a basketball to a student.
Zackery has been a focused and competitive athlete his entire life. Throughout elementary school, he trained in martial arts and earned several awards in Kung Fu tournaments.
He has also dedicated himself to team sports and played basketball and football in local leagues.
His love of sports shines at Osceola Fundamental. In his freshman year, Zackery played tight end for his school's JV football team, Osceola Warriors. Currently training three hours each day after school, he is expected to play line backer next year.
Zackery also played for the Osceola LaCrosse Warriors and became team captain in his first year. He led the team's beginning and ending cheers for each game and practice.
He currently plays in a summer LaCrosse league with some of his Osceola teammates.
"Zack Hehn is a hard working sophomore-to-be. The coaches expect that Zack will be one of the leaders on our JV team next year," said Osceola's Varsity Head Coach George Palmer.
LaCrosse Coach Greg Stanley also commended Zackery's dedication to sports.
"I've only known Zack for a short time. In that time have seen he is very passionate and driven and plays with tenacity," Stanley said.
Hehn has set his sights on playing college sports at either Syracuse University or San Diego State University.
