• Upcoming community events at Lehigh Acres Church Of God Of Prophecy (lehighacrescitizen.com) — Lehigh Acres residents are invited to several upcoming events at the Church of God of Prophecy on Elva Avenue, including a free Community Health Fair on Oct. 10 and a Family & Friends Community Outreach Day on Oct. 25. The church also hosts the L.A. Worship Encounter 2026 on Nov. 21 and welcomes everyone to regular Sunday worship at 10 a.m.
   

• Lee County diaper drive collects donations for families in need (gulfcoastnewsnow.com) — Lehigh Acres families can support Lee County's first diaper drive by dropping donations at Veterans Park Recreation Center or East County Regional Library now through Oct. 23. The county and Healthy Start Southwest Florida are collecting diapers, wipes, creams, and training pants to help local parents struggling with diaper costs across the region.
