• Residents fear more flooding in The Acreage after 9 inches of rain (wptv.com) — Heavy rains have flooded streets, yards and canals in The Acreage, stressing a drainage system that also serves Loxahatchee Groves and other western Palm Beach County communities. Local water managers say canal levels were lowered beforehand but nine inches of rain still overwhelmed the network, and they’re urging residents to avoid driving through standing water and to clear swales and drains as more rain approaches.
