1 Killed In Mobile Home Fire In Wesley Chapel

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — Pasco County Fire Rescue is investigating a home fire that killed one person early Saturday morning.

Firefighters were called to a single-wide mobile home in the 4000 block of Lado Drive in Wesley Chapel at 6:10 a.m.

When firefighters arrived, they reported heavy fire and smoke coming from the mobile home. Two people were at home when the fire started. One of the occupants was able to escape but the second was found dead inside the home.

The Pasco County Fire Marshal's Office, the Pasco County Sheriffs Office and the Bureau of Fire and Arson Investigation are investigating the cause of the fire.
