3 Injured When Minivan Crashes Through Publix Liquor Store
An employee and a customer inside a Dade City Publix liquor store were injured Saturday when a 79-year-old woman crashed her minivan.

DADE CITY, FL β An employee and a customer inside a Dade City Publix liquor store were injured Saturday when a 79-year-old woman crashed her minivan through the wall of the store.
According to Dade City Police, at 1:50 p.m. a Dade City woman was driving a 2003 Dodge minivan out of the parking lot of the Publix at 11798 U.S. 301.
Police said she traveled east from a stop sign for about 37 feet and then jumped a curb and continued another 24 feet before striking the building. The minivan came to rest 28 feet inside the store.

One male employee was working in the main aisle when he was struck by the minivan. He received a laceration to his arm and some upper body injuries. A female customer was injured by flying debris and glass. They were both taken to Lakeland Regional Hospital ospital. Police said their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
The driver was also taken to Lakeland Regional Hospital with undisclosed injuries.
