35 Tires Swiped in Theft

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is looking for some help identifying a man it says helped himself to 35 tires from a Lutz business late last week.

The incident in question occurred on Dec. 4 between 8:45 and 11:17 p.m. The sheriff’s office said during that time frame a man entered JJ Tires, 19003 N. U.S. 41, and took an estimated two hours to load up 35 tires and a small air tank. The man was driving a white vehicle, possibly a GMC Jimmy, the sheriff’s office wrote in an email to media.
