80-Year-Old Dade City Man Dies In Crash On U.S. 301

DADE CITY, FL — An 80-year-old Dade City man has died following a crash at U.S. 301 and U.S. 98 Nov. 15.

At 2:05 p.m. Friday, Arnold Lee Koranda of Dade City made a left turn in his Honda CRV out of the Chevron gas station at 20400 U.S. 98 and continued west to the intersection of U.S. 301 where he stopped. He then proceeded into the path of a semi tractor-trailer truck driven by Juan Carlos Garcia Ponce, 51, of Dade City, which was traveling south on U.S. 301.
