87-Year-Old Wesley Chapel Woman Dies From Injuries In Crash

PASCO COUNTY, FL — An 87-year-old passenger involved in a crash at the intersection of State Road 54 and Vandine Road Nov. 21 has died at the hospital from her injuries.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 11:15 p.m., a car driven by a 17-year-old Wesley Chapel teen was headed east on SR 54 and a sport utility vehicles driven by a 69-year-old Wesley Chapel man was traveling west on SR 54.

At the intersection of Vandine Road, the 17-year-old turned left under a flashing yellow left turn signal and collided with the SUV.

The 87-year-old Wesley Chapel woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. On Sunday, the highway patrol said she died from her injuries.
