Accused Hit-And-Run Driver Arrested After Followed By Witnesses
A Dade City man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run accident that killed a pedestrian on U.S. 301.

DADE CITY, FL -- A Dade City man has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run accident that killed a pedestrian on U.S. 301.
According to Dade City Police, on Jan. 12 at 2:10 a.m., Johnson Frye Jr., 27, of Croft Street was walking south on the shoulder of U.S. 301 when he was struck by a 2005 Nissan Altima.
The driver left the scene but witnesses followed the car and led police to the home of Renato Temich Quino, 32, in the 12400 block of Dade City Avenue. Quino was charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving death and property damage and driving without a valid license.
