AdventHealth Hosts Sendoff For Recovering Coronavirus Patient

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — Team members at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel celebrated a heartfelt moment after releasing coronavirus patient Tamashri Maharana from the intensive care unit Friday.

Maharana spent seven days in the hospital, four of those days in the ICU battling the virus.

Team members lined the halls and clapped as she made her way out of the hospital. She is now in quarantine at home where she is continuing to recover.
