AdventHealth Westchase ER Celebrates Grand Opening

WESTCHASE, FL — AdventHealth celebrated the upcoming opening of its AdventHealth Westchase ER over the weekend with a free community event featuring tours of the new emergency room, safety demonstrations, food trucks and inflatables.

AdventHealth will open a 12-bed emergency room on Feb. 3 at 10977 Sheldon Road in Westchase staffed with board-certified emergency medicine physicians and nurses who specialize in emergency care for adults and children.

The ER will offer X-ray, ultrasound, CT scans and on-site laboratory services so patients can receive real-time results without traveling to another facility, enabling a quicker diagnosis and treatment. Patients will also have the ability to reserve a spot in the ER online by using InQuicker. Additionally, the ER will offer a dedicated AdventHealth ambulance to transport patients to the nearest AdventHealth hospital if they have extended health care needs.
