Body Found In Pond Identified As Tampa Man; Classified Homicide

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is investigating the homicide of a man found floating in a Zephyrhills pond.

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL -- The Pasco County Sheriff's Office has identified the man found floating in a Zephyrhills pond on Tuesday as Carlos Saint Louis, 38, of 1904 E. North Bay St., Tampa.

This case has been officially classified as a homicide.

Deputies were called to 32715 Eiland Blvd. at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, where Saint Louis' body was found in a small pond surrounded by a wooded area behind Home Depot about 300 yards west of Eiland and 500 yards north of State Road 54. There is a homeless camp in the area, according to deputies.
