Construction Workers Find Human Remains In Dade City

DADE CITY, FL -- A construction crew discovered human remains while digging a retention pond near the intersection of 21st Street and Blanton Road in Dade City on April 21.

Pasco County Sheriff's detectives went to the scene to try to gather evidence.

The body has been taken to the University of South Florida Forensics Department for analysis.

At this time, the cause of death and how long the remains had been at that location are unknown.
