Update: Yocam Avenue Sign Replaced

Update 1:04 p.m. Dec. 19: Lutz Patch readers are reporting the county has replaced the sign at the intersection of Yocam and Sunset, as promised.

Motorists driving along Sunset Lane should soon notice a shiny new street sign at the corner of Yocam Avenue.

The sign was knocked down several weeks ago during an accident, according to Lutz Patch Facebook fan Christene Frid Roy.

When Lutz Patch asked readers on the site and via Facebook for issues that concerned them, Roy wrote in about the sign.

We checked with Hillsborough County and found out the sign’s replacement is on the drawing board.

“It’s been reported to us and a new sign should be made and reinstalled within a couple of weeks,” county spokesman Steve Valdez said.
