DADE CITY, FL -- The Pasco County Sheriff's Office have charged a Dade City man with grand theft after he admitted to stealing two Jack Russell terriers from the yard of a home on Old Trilby Road Wednesday, Jan. 16 at around 1:15 a.m.
Parker Capparelli, 28, had the dogs with him when deputies tracked him down in Dade City.
He admitted to letting the dogs out of their pen on the owner's property but said the dogs then followed him. He said the reason he freed them was because one of the dogs looked like one he used to own.
