Dade City Woman Accused Of Stabbing Ex-Boyfriend With Scissors

DADE CITY, FL -- A 45-year-old Dade City woman is facing charges after being accused of stabbing her ex-boyfriend with a pair of scissors.

Pasco County Sheriff's deputies arrested Lanarcar Martize Singletary of Lock Street on Monday and charged her with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and resisting an officer.

Deputies responded to a complaint from the former boyfriend who had an injury to his arm. He said the injury occurred when his ex-girlfriend stabbed him with a pair of scissors. Deputies tracked Singletary down but she fled when they tried to arrest her. Deputies eventually took her into custody and transported her to the Land O' Lakes Detention Center where she's being held on no bond.

Singletary has two previous battery convictions.
