Easter Sunday 2015: Publix, Winn-Dixie Store Hours

Rounding up last-minute items for Easter Sunday dinner might not be easy for all Tampa Bay area residents.

Those who prefer shopping at Winn-Dixie will find stores throughout Florida operating on their normal schedules, according to Julianne Roberts, corporate communications manager for Bi-Lo Holdings, the chain’s parent company.

Publix stores throughout the state, however, will close down Easter Sunday, April 5, so employees can spend a day with family, spokesman Brian West said. The Lakeland-based chain also institutes that policy on Thanksgiving and Christmas, West noted.

Publix stores will resume normal operating hours on Monday, April 6.
