LUTZ, FL -- A family in the Carpenters Run subdivision in Lutz received an unexpected guest Friday afternoon.

An out-of-control Waste Connections garbage truck plowed through their yard on Tinsmith Drive, crashing through their backyard fence and screened porch. The driver sustained minor injuries. No one in the home was hurt.
