Guardian ad Litem Volunteer Training in Carrollwood

There are currently more than 3000 children in Hillsborough County who are under the state’s supervision due to some form of abuse, abandonment or neglect. The Guardian ad Litem Program through our staff and volunteers are able to work with almost 1800 of these children providing them a “voice” in court so that their best interest is heard. Due to a shortage of volunteers the remaining children do not have anyone to advocate for their best interest. In March, Village Presbyterian Church, 13115 S. Village Drive, Tampa 33618 will host a New Volunteer Training. Training will be from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on March 5th and 12th.
