Patti, Helen and pals will do their very best to talk plants with you regardless of your botanical talent. They have all kinds of gorgeous flowers, plants, herbs, and supplies. They will plant your purchases for you, or you can take it home and do it yourself.
They have really neat container classes each month. I've been the recipient of a special holiday container that a certain 12 year old assembled for his mom last year. I also have a stacking planter full of herbs that has done very well despite my lack of gardening knowledge.
Something about driving by their giant chalkboard sign usually brings a smile to my face. Recently the word on it was "hypertufa", which had me do a double-take, as if I misread it at 45 mph. Nope, the word is correct, and if you choose to ask them about it, they will gladly tell you about their recent Hypertufa Mania classes.
