Hillsborough Man Charged With 87 Counts Of Possessing Child Porn

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL — A Hillsborough County man is behind bars after being arrested on 87 counts of possession of child pornography.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office arrested Sonny Gyger on Tuesday following an investigation that began Oct. 22 when deputies responded to a domestic call at his home.

The caller told deputies that Gyger had child porn on his computer. The sheriff's Internet Predator Unit obtained a search warrant and found dozens of files of child porn on his computer's hard drive. Detectives do not believe Gyger knew the subjects.

Gyger's bond has been set at $174,000.00.
