Hit-And-Run Driver Leaves Zephyrhills Man In Serious Condition

ZEPHYRHILLS, FL -- The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking the public's help to identify a hit-and-run driver who struck a pedestrian on Old Lakeland Highway and then fled the scene.

At 10:25 a.m. on Monday, Russell C. Horn, 31, of Zephyhills was walking north along the west side of Old Lakeland Highway when he attempted to cross at Richland Road.

An unknown vehicle had just completed a U-turn on Old Lakeland Road when it struck Horn.

Horn was taken to AdventHealth Zephyrhills in serious condition.
