Hit-And-Run Driver Leaves Motorcyclist In Critical Condition

LUTZ, FL -- A 43-year-old Auburndale man is in critical condition following a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of State Road 54 and Oak Grove Boulevard.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at about 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, Paul Lee Ross of Auburndale was driving his motorcycle east in the center lane of State Road 54 approaching Oak Grove Boulevard when he was struck by a dark gray Toyota sedan turning onto Oak Grove Boulevard from S.R. 54.

The Toyota fled the scene. Witnesses say the driver with a white woman with blonde hair.
