Land O' Lakes Woman In Serious Condition After Crashing Into Home

LUTZ, FL — A 21-year-old Land O' Lakes woman sustained serious injuries after losing control of her car and slamming into a home in Lutz.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman was traveling north on Collier Parkway approaching the intersection of Willow Bend Parkway Wednesday at 1:16 a.m. when she experienced a medical episode.

She lost control of her car, which traveled across Willow Bend Parkway, entered the southbound lanes of Collier Parkway, then left the road and crashed into a home at 22736 Arborglen Court in Lutz.

Due to Marsy's Law, approved by Florida voters in 2018 to protect the identities of crime victims, the Florida Highway Patrol has chosen to no longer release the names of those involved in traffic accidents.
