Lutz Commuter Makes Gruesome Discovery On Way To Work

LUTZ, FL -- An early-morning drive to work turned into anything but routine for a Lutz commuter Wednesday, Nov. 7.

While driving down Sierra Pines Boulevard just north of West Lutz-Lake Fern Road at 6:30 a.m., the commuter looked over and saw the body of a woman lying on the side of the road.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies have identified the body as 22-year-old Mollee Serafin.

Detectives believe she died in the early-morning hours of Nov. 7 but are being closed-lipped on the cause of death.
