Lutz Man Arrested For Threatening Child Protection Investigator

A Lutz man has been charged with aggravated assault after reportedly threatening a child protective investigator with a gun.

LUTZ, FL -- A Lutz man has been charged with aggravated assault after reportedly threatening a child protective investigator with a gun.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, investigator Sandra Anderson-Coleman was conducting a child welfare followup on Aug. 10 in the 2000 block of Northwood Drive in Lutz when Jason Paul Ochenrider, 35, reportedly confronted her and told her to leave the property.

As Anderson-Coleman tried to explain why she was there, Ochenrider went to his car, retrieved what appeared to be a firearm and threatened her.

Anderson-Coleman, who was wearing a Pasco County Sheriff's Office embroidered shirt, left and contacted the sheriff's office.

Deputies arrived, established a perimeter and contacted Ochenrider who was taken into custody. A consensual search yielded a BB gun, which looked like a firearm.

Ochenrider was arrested for aggravated assault and transported to the Land O' Lakes Detention Center.
